Bibi Saves the Trees

Children’s Picture Storybook

She finds joy in all things green and growing. Can this bubbly nature lover turn a tragedy into a chance to teach others to care for Mother Earth?

Bibi sees problems as chances to do good. Bursting with curiosity, a school outing to a forest reserve fills the intelligent girl with respect for every life-giving pine, maple, and oak. So her heart breaks upon discovering her family’s favourite picnic spot has been cleared by saws and axes.

Inspired to restore the land, her eyes grow bright as she gets a brilliant idea. And approaching her teacher and classmates, she crosses her fingers that they’ll be excited about the project and jump at the chance to pitch in.

Will Bibi’s enthusiasm encourage her friends to take action?

Bibi Saves the Trees is the charming third volume in the Preserve the Planet children’s picture book series. If you or your child like learning about ecology, fertilizing imaginations, and bringing people together, then you’ll love Judith A. Ewa’s beautifully illustrated motivator.

A shining example of children’s environmental awareness

As a reader, I was thrilled to see how Bibi Saves the Trees inspires children to care for the planet with hope and action. The story is simple, one of the aspects that I like very much and without leaving aside the important aspects that this reading leaves us with as with the love she shows for nature, she transforms the sadness for a felled forest into a school project full of life. I loved how it conveys that every little action adds up. This book is undoubtedly a seed of ecological awareness that blossoms in the hearts of young readers.

A Sweet and Uplifting Read

I thought Bibi Saves the Trees was fantastic. I smiled from the first page because Bibi’s love of nature is so sincere. Her reaction seems so genuine when she witnesses the destruction of the forest she loves. What I admired most, though, is how she uses her grief to motivate herself. It’s the sort of tale that quietly educates children that they can change the world. What about the pictures? Simply stunning.

My 3-year-old granddaughter loved listening to me read Bibi and the Honey Bees while she looked at the pretty illustrations!
She enjoyed learning that Bibi and her friends were working together to solve the honey bee shortage, and, that they did solve the problem! The best news though was when Halle asked me to read this book again and again! 😊❤
